Old Victoria Hall - Salisbury

Old Victoria Hall is a Grade II* listed building in central Salisbury. The ambitious project took this beautiful Georgian building through a full transformation from poorly maintained and no longer fit for purposes office building into six stunning apartments.

The works were extensive and included significant repair and renovation of the building fabric. Carried out through a collaborative approach with the conservation officer repairs to the building included reinstatment of the Georgian cornice, replacement roof covering, sash window repair with replacement where necessary and sensitive masonry repointing and repair.

The internal works included structural repairs, full replacement of mechanical and electrical systems and the fit out to create six well proportioned luxury apartments.

The project was initially purchased in 2019 with planning and listed building consent granted in early 20202 just before Coronvirus arrived in the UK. The works were significantly effected by the initial lockdown with funding contractints requiring a full re-programming of the works and hands on approach to manage the delivery of the works using local specialist suppliers.
